Biography

Richard Sabon (b.2001) is a multi-instrumentalist, piano teacher, and live electronic performer. He combines elements of contemporary classical, jazz, and heartfelt club music to create a unique stylistic blend in sometimes ambient, chronically dancey electronic music.

He contributes ondes Martenot and electronics various in Portland avant-garde duo Negative Concord, and plays keyboards in the anthemesque live outfit for queer Portland icon Shawna Pair.

c.2022 he joined Portland Music Collective to teach piano and composition. c.2024 he began independently releasing his works on Bandcamp.

His debut album NO ONE MAKES IT OUT released 1 May 2025.
